Brigitte Riester has been a freelance sculptor in Kerpen near Cologne since 2020. From 2016 to 2021, she completed intensive studies in sculpture, sculpture and installation at the Bildhauerhalle Bonn with Paul Advena. Their preferred material is paper. In several works, she deals with the power of the printed word and the flood of information of our time. The projects come to her, challenge her and don't let her go.  Only through transformation, often through translation and design into the three-dimensional, does she succeed in finding an approach and understanding the extent of the influence. She wanted to shape, but instead it shapes her.
